1. DCo Rocks for City Hall Selfie Day on August 15th - Durham County Government is taking part in the Engaging Local Government Leaders (ELGL) #CityHallSelfie Day - an annual worldwide celebration of ALL local government employees and service and we want to show that Durham County Rocks!
Durham County citizens and staff can show their love of local government on Thursday, August 15th by snapping a SELFIE on the steps of the Administration Building I at 200 E. Main Street or at any of your favorite Durham County facilities or buildings!
Once you have your selfie, share it by tagging us on Twitter (@DurhamCounty), Facebook (@DurhamCountyGov) or Instagram (@DurhamCountyGov) along with the hashtags #CityHallSelfie & #DCoRocks to get recognized locally and nationally!
2. Have your say on GoDurham Plans to Restructure Routes - GoDurham buses will be visible more often in January. The latest transit improvement plan calls for additional routes during the day and night.
Customers can view the proposed service changes or leave additional feedback until August 19th at www.godurhamtransit.org/service-changes; by email: serviceplanning@gotriangle.org or by phone at 919-485-7526.
3. MBK Durham Stakeholder Call - My Brother's Keeper Durham is excited to host a network call to provide updates on the mini-grant process, partnerships and other programs on Tuesday, August 27th at 2:00pm.
Interested participants are asked to RSVP by email to mybrotherskeeper@dconc.gov. At that time the call-in information will be provided.
