The Board is requested to conduct a public hearing and receive public comments on the Unified Development Ordinance Text Amendment, Compact Suburban Design (CSD) District (TC1800009); and
First Motion: To adopt the appropriate Statement of Consistency pursuant to NCGS §153A-341; and
Second Motion: To adopt an ordinance amending the Unified Development Ordinance, incorporating revisions to amend Article 4, Zoning Districts; Article 5, Use Regulations; Article 8, Environmental Protections; Article 9, Landscaping and Buffering; Article 10, Parking and Loading; Article 14, Nonconformities; and Article 16, Design Districts; and
Third Motion: To adopt a resolution designating the future street network for the Patterson Place Compact Neighborhood Tier.
Summary. The proposed text amendment (TC1800009) would incorporate standards for a new Compact Suburban Design (CSD) District into the Unified Development Ordinance.
