The Board is requested to proclaim September 22-28, 2019 as Durham Senior Hunger Awareness Week.
This proclamation is being presented by the Committee on Senior Food & Nutrition of Durham Partnership for Seniors as part of a public information campaign designed to create public awareness of and solutions to senior hunger in Durham.
Alignment With Strategic Plan: This item aligns with Goal 1: Community Empowerment and Enrichment and Goal 2: Health and Well-Being for All.
