The Board is requested to issue a proclamation declaring October 9, 2019 as Durham Housing Authority Day.
October 9th marks the 70 years since the establishment of the Durham Housing Authority. The City of Durham along with Durham County continues to serve thousands of Durham families by providing affordable housing and supportive programs that lift families up into a better life.

County Manager’s Recommendation: The County Manager recommends that the Board issue a proclamation declaring October 9, 2019 as Durham Housing Authority Day in Durham County.
