The Board is requested to approve Budget Ordinance Amendment No. 21BCC000022 to recognize funds in the amount of $190,797 for the Durham Dental Hope project grant with the University of North Carolina Adams School of Dentistry.
The dates for the grant are July 1, 2020 - June 30, 2021. The Department will receive from the UNC Adams School of Dentistry $190,797 in FY 2021, and $140,797 in FY 2022. The amendment requires no additional County funds.
Alignment with Strategic Plan: This amendment aligns with Strategic Goal 2: Health and Well-being for All by providing more resources to the community through the provision of dental services within Durham Public Elementary Schools.

County Manager’s Recommendation: The County Manager recommends that the Board approve Budget Ordinance Amendment No. 21BCC000022 to recognize funds in the amount of $190,797 for the Durham Dental Hope project grant with the University of North Carolina Adams School of Dentistry.
