Request for Board Action:

Agenda Text

The Board is requested to approve Budget Ordinance Amendment No. 21BCC0000030, adjusting the revenue source for CARES Act funding received for EMS in Budget Ordinance Amendment No. 21BCC000004, from Intergovernmental to a General Fund fund balance appropriation. This CARES Act revenue of $219,744.29 was actually received - but not expended in FY 2019-20 - and thus reverted to General Fund fund balance.

This administrative action confirms the expenses were correctly budgeted in AAF-004, but the revenues are being amended to reflect a General Fund fund balance appropriation rather than in intergovernmental revenue category.

Alignment with Strategic Plan: This request aligns with the County’s Strategic Goal #2: Health and Well-being for All, Strategic Goal #3: Safe Community, and Strategic Goal #5: Accountable, Efficient, and Visionary Government.
