The Board is requested to issue a resolution in support of Women’s Health and Equal Access to Abortion.
The Durham County Women’s Commission want to implement the Resolution supporting Women’s Health and Equal Access to Abortion. The Commission wishes to support reproductive healthcare and denounce any laws that hinder reproductive rights.
Alignment with Strategic Plan: This item aligns with Goal 2: Health and Well Being for All and Goal 5: Accountable, Efficient and Visionary Government

County Manager’s Recommendation: The County Manager recommends that the Board issue the resolution in support of Women’s Health and Equal Access to Abortion.
