Agenda Text

The Board is requested to receive the Racial Equity Task Force report and review the member’s questions prior to the presentation. Upon review, the County identify ways that the County, City and School Board can cooperate in meaningful ways to advance the recommendations suggested in this report and share those ideas during the discussion portion of our presentation. We hope that the County makes a commitment to continuing the work of race equity in all facets of County resident life. We recognize our work was requested by the City, but we know the elements of our report are also applicable to a multitude of areas under the County’s jurisdiction. The questions are enclosed.
