The Board is requested to authorize the County Manager to amend DeWhit Facility Services contract by $62,109.60 for a revised total of $297,910.44. This was due to the termination of the previous vendor for, noncompliance, and failure to perform the base contract services. DeWhit was the lowest bidder to provide these services by our current janitorial vendors.
Total funding for the amendment will be sourced from current FY22-23 Janitorial budget.
General Services is requesting that the BOCC to amend DeWhit Facility Services contract to include service for Cooperative Extension located in the Agriculture building, 721 Foster Street.
Alignment with Strategic Plan: Safe and Secure Community. Taking measures to ensure the safety of staff and citizens is consistent with current policy. This contract request is a new issue before the Board.
