The Board is requested to review and approve the updated Interlocal Agreement between Durham County and the Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) Board for maintenance services at ABC locations within Durham County.
This agreement is for Durham County General Services to continue to provide routine pest control and grounds maintenance services for an updated agreed upon monthly rate of $4,336.85 plus $0.625 per mile. The monthly routine services include the pickup of exterior trash and debris from all lots and grounds. Emptying exterior trash receptables and replacing trash liners. Mowing and trimming grass every two (2) weeks. Removing leaves in the fall each year. Pest control services are also provided to each location monthly. Should additional services be required for grounds, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or building maintenance, at cost service rates have been established. The ABC Board reviewed and agreed to the rates and services during their November 15, 2022 board meeting.
This agreement continues the services that General Services has been providing to the ABC Board for approximately 20+ years. The rates stated in the Interlocal Agreement capture the full expenses for the services being provided.
