The Board is requested to authorize the County Manager to execute a contract with LYME Technology Solutions in the amount of $55,389. Lyme Technology Solutions is the vehicle which RAVE Mobile Safety utilizes for GSA. RAVE Alert Pro is a leading mass notification platform that allows Emergency Management staff to send emergency notifications to multiple individuals in three easy steps through phone, text and email, and the mobile app. The platform also allows Durham County and the City of Durham to communicate with its employees through the same methods. This product offers a user-friendly platform for emergency notifications, as well as increased integration and interoperability for key Emergency Management principles and programs. Furthermore, it offers greater Public Safety collaboration on a multi-disciplinary front to provide for the safety and wellbeing of our community. RAVE Alert Pro will replace Everbridge, which is the current host system for AlertDurham.
