From cross-disciplinary collaborations to grassroots initiatives, this conference highlights the importance of a collective commitment to prioritizing the voices, perspectives, and needs of Black Birthing Persons. Join as we strengthen bonds, forge new partnerships, and chart a course towards equitable health outcomes in our communities and beyond.

Visit Broadening Our Reach: Expanding Our Community of Practice (www.wakeahec.org) to register. Limited space is available.

2. Durham Public Schools: Summer Meals Site Opportunity - Durham Public Schools (DPS) School Nutrition Services provides summer meals countywide from June 17 through July 26, 2024. Our most successful programs are when we're in partnership with community groups already gathering children and youth, age 0-18 years, together for summer activities. DPS provides the food (breakfast and/or lunch) and the program training; you provide the activities and the fun.

If you have or know about a community group that would like to serve FREE summer meals to kids, please visit https://www.dpsnc.net/Page/3788 or contact Sky Harris, DPS School Nutrition Program Specialist at 919-560-2370 or linda.harris@dpsnc.net. Contact us soon - summer is right around the corner!
